Theo's blobs, evolving lasers and hidden discoveries — preserved.
Canvas + LASER firing
Releasing either contact keeps lasers firing while the other is held. Canvas aiming and the LASER button now share firing ownership; firing stops when the final source ends.
Fresh laser emission after either release order was checked in native Chromium touch emulation at 320×568 and 568×320, with source-only positive controls and residual-shot exclusion. Final release, all-contact cancellation and desktop mouse release outside the canvas were also checked. These checks establish canvas/LASER source merging; all-contact cancellation is not selective cancellation. Physical devices and Safari remain unverified. A separate automated natural run in Chromium touch emulation at 568×320 verified progression, flamethrower pickup, post-pickup firing, victory and banner-tap restart on this repaired game. This was an unseeded run with automated movement and aiming, not human balance or play-feel acceptance. The earlier input-only checks described below did not test victory; this separate run supplies that evidence. Other viewport sizes are not covered by this natural-run result; controls can still cover scenery.

Keyboard + touch movement
Releasing the keyboard key keeps movement going while its touch direction is held. Releasing the touch direction keeps movement going while its keyboard key is held. Movement stops when the final source is released.
Native Chromium keyboard/touch checks verified both release orders for rightward movement at 320×568 and 568×320. Separate repaired-game checks covered touch cancellation/repress, four-direction movement with LASER and aiming, Help/return, natural loss/restart and playable-history navigation. These movement checks do not establish selective cancellation or natural victory on this repaired version; shared firing is covered separately above. Physical devices and Safari remain unverified; controls can still cover scenery.

Restart rescue
Play preserved Restart rescue — the September 24 published version, with its game bytes unchanged. The ownership repair above is not included.
Tap the loss or victory card to play again, or press R. Terminal instructions now explain both controls. A delayed boss event from a previous run no longer leaks into a fresh game.
On touch screens, Help & history opens guidance below the arena; Back to arena returns to the game, even if the round ended while you were reading. Help does not pause combat. Guidance no longer sits across the arena during play.
The help/return buttons, restored scroll position, movement and loss/restart were checked in Chromium touch emulation at 390×844 and 844×390. HUD and controls remain over the game; mobile overlays can still obscure the arena. This is not an unobstructed-view or all-screen-size claim. Physical devices and Safari have not been verified.
The mobile arena now uses equal horizontal and vertical scale rather than stretching the world. Canvas proportions and viewport containment were checked at 390×844 and 844×390 in Chromium touch emulation, alongside native touch aiming in four diagonal directions. Desktop layout is unchanged at the checked 1400×900 and 600×800 sizes. This does not establish overlay-free play: HUD, ready notices and controls can still cover the arena. Other viewport sizes and physical-device play feel remain unverified.
Mobile combat feedback now keeps the evolution notice separate from the HUD and Help button. A controlled collision fixture checked visible notice separation and expiry at 390×844 and 844×390; smaller layout checks covered 320×568, 375×667, 568×320 and 667×375. These are presentation checks, not new natural-progression or victory acceptance.
Small-screen controls now use stacked FIRE and LASER buttons on narrow portraits and a centered Help button on short landscapes. Native Chromium touch-emulation movement, firing, Help/return and natural loss/restart were checked at 320×568 and 568×320. Aiming trajectories were checked at 390×844 and 844×390, not the smaller sizes. Notices and controls still overlay arena scenery. Physical devices and Safari remain unverified.
The original evolution, secret pickup and boss rules remain unchanged. Desktop Chromium progression through victory was checked on an earlier private candidate with the same gameplay scripts, not repeated for this description-only revision.
